If you really believe that curiosity killed the cat, then don't come over for dinner. (Because i experiment a lot, not because i kill cats.)
Although i take inspiration from recipes, i generally don't follow them. The following dishes are recipes that i've either
come up with myself or read about and tweaked a lot.
A few notes:
- In all recipes, "Dining Companion" refers to significant other, self, parents, children, and/or any other culinary victim.
- I don't put "Prep time" anywhere because it always seems to take me three times more than what other people write anyway, so i don't want to similarly disappoint.
- I thought about putting "beginner", "intermediate" etc., but opted instead to use a relative scale; so I'm going to arrange the recipes very roughly from easiest to most complicated, as measured by number of ingredients and steps, cooking techniques needed, (relative) preparation time, etc.
- I realized after my third recipe that all my dishes involve alcohol. Hmmm. (The third is still in progress.)
